A national brand of high-quality pet food has opened it’s doors to their new facility in Le Mars. Barkley’s Bag held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon, and head of operations Brian Rich explained more about the company to KLEM.
The facility formally started operations back in August, and according to Rich, currently produces between 250,000 and 300,000 units a month. Rich says that Le Mars was chosen to be closer to the company’s suppliers.
Rich says that Barkley’s is dedicated to Le Mars long-term.
