Le Mars boys basketball falls to undefeated Council Bluffs AL

The Le Mars boys basketball team ran into an undefeated buzzsaw on Tuesday night falling to Council Bluffs AL by the score of 77-53.

The Bulldogs found themselves behind early thanks the hot shooting from the Lynx. Council Bluffs AL made 15 three-point field goals in the game that kept the Bulldogs from bringing it anywhere close. Head coach Cody Dyhrkopp says the guys were unable to defend the outside as well as they would have liked.

A bright spot for the Bulldogs came off the bench with the play of Isaiah Tolzin. He scored 12 points for the Bulldogs that gave them a spark on the offensive side. Coach Dyhrkopp says his ability to go after loose balls and keep possessions alive made him a big spark in the game.

Le Mars falls to 2-3 on the season with a 1-3 MRAC record after the loss. Coach Dyhrkopp says there is a few things that need to be worked on before the final game in the 2025 portion of the schedule.

Le Mars faces off with Sioux City North coming up on Friday in a game you can hear on KLEM Radio.
