Joseph “Joe” Paul Dreckman, age 65, of Marcus, IA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday Jan. 15, 2026 at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, SD due to injuries sustained from a fall.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus, IA with Rev. Timothy Pick officiating and Deacon Jerry Bertrand assisting. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation with family present will be 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church, with a vigil prayer service at 7 P.M. Visitation will resume from 9:30-10:15 A.M. on Thursday at the church. Services have been entrusted to the Fisch Funeral Funeral Home & Monument in Marcus, IA. www.fischfh.com.
