The Le Mars boys basketball team took a loss to Sioux City West in MRAC competition on Friday night by the score of 73-58.
The Wolverines are one of the best offensive teams around, and they proved it on Friday night. Head coach Cody Dyhrkopp says there are many levels at which they can score at making them tough to guard.
In trying to figure out ways to defend the Wolverines, Le Mars shifted their defense up again after getting some good results against Western on Thursday. Coach Dyhrkopp says he liked what he saw again in the matchup with West.
This is Le Mars’ final week of competition in the regular season before the substate playoffs begin in a couple of weeks. Coach Dyhrkopp says the defensive adjustments have been working well, but they need to get going sooner in games.
