A local staple is reopening their doors today, with Bob’s Drive Inn serving customers for the first time after a recent renovation. The Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the reopening yesterday morning. Owner Nate Kass explained to KLEM why the remodel was needed.
This was the restaurant’s first remodel in nearly two decades, with the work taking over two months to complete while Bob’s was closed for the winter season. Kass says he hopes the renovation will create a more comforting environment for customers.
The newly-remodeled Bob’s Drive Inn, serving Bob Dogs, taverns, shakes and more, will officially reopen to the public today starting at 11am.
