Plymouth County Historical Museum hosting annual Accordion Festival this weekend
The 22nd annual edition of the Art Pahl-Peter Boe Accordion Festival will take place this Sunday, May 3rd inside of the Plymouth County Historical Museum’s “Old Central” Gym. Museum administrator Jennifer Scholten told KLEM that the beloved celebration of accordion music and heritage draws musicians from across the region.
The annual festival honors the legacy of local accordionists Art Pahl and Peter Boe, with Scholten explaining that the festival was named in Pahl’s honor after the first edition.
In addition to musicians and music lovers, the festival also serves as a family gathering for both families. Scholten says the festival is a great tradition for the Museum.
The festival will take place on Sunday starting at 2pm. Admission is by free will offering, and is open to the public.
