Farmers Market gears up for another season in Le Mars
Starting this upcoming Saturday, the Le Mars Farmers Market will return to the Olson Cultural Events Center every weekend from May until October, with vendors offering fresh produce, eggs, baked goods, and more. Speaking to KLEM, organizer Rob Scheitler says that all goods at the Market are made, baked, or grown by local vendors themselves.
To celebrate the first Saturday of the Market, live music and local food trucks will be available for shoppers starting from 9am on Saturday. This is the third year the Market has been based out of the Olson Center, and Scheitler says the move has helped the Market to grow.
Scheitler says the Market helps to tie the community together during the summer.
The first opening of the Le Mars Farmers Market this season will take place this Saturday, May 9th, from 9am until noon.
