Le Mars Toy Store Semi Trailer Annual Fair Feature
The Le Mars Toy Store is once again offering a limited-edition toy semi and trailer for this year’s Plymouth County Fair. Owner Albert Schulz says this is the 27th year for producing an all-new collectible for the fair and the 2026 model pays tribute to the late Carol Kabisch and the family musical group: the Brown’s.
Carol Kabisch is remembered for her involvement with the 4-H Food Stand.
The Browns have become a Sunday night fair tradition performing two shows on the Pioneer Village Stage.
Schulz says this year’s collectible truck is almost sold out.
The Le Mars Toy Store also gives back to the fair during the Sunday fair auction.

Final Day of RAGBRAI
This is the final day of RAGBRAI, the Register’s bike ride across Iowa with today’s route from Dyersville to Dubuque. Kevin Eekhoff of Le Mars who has taken part in this annual event for 30 years, says the ride started out with intense heat.
Eekhoff, who rides with a group called Milkweed, talked about the food they enjoy.
He says he enjoys the camaraderie of the bike ride.
This year’s route included an optional day five 160 mile “America 250” double loop option.
