K9 Trials In Le Mars
This is the final day for K9 trials in Le Mars. The Plymouth County Sherriff’s Office and the Le Mars Police Department are hosting the USPCA Region 21 K9 trials held yesterday and today. Le Mars Police Department K9 Officer Bob Rohmiller told KLEM that yesterday three events took place at the trials including obedience, suspect search, and article search, and the trials continue today.
He said the events are all scored.
Rohmiller said he was mentored by former Le Mars Police Officer Mark Reed.
The Plymouth County Sherriff’s Office and the Le Mars Police Department each have two dogs. Rohmiller explained how they are used throughout the year.
