Helen H. Bottjen, 81, of rural Remsen, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Marcus. Interment will be in the Remsen City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Earnest-Johnson Funeral Home in Marcus, with the family present from 5-8:00 and a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. The visitation will resume at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to Helen’s service.
