Janice Gay (Klemme) Rohlfs, 69, of rural Akron, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron, Iowa. Rev. Dawn J. Quame will officiate. Burial will follow at the Plymouth Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Akron, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Friday.
