Jan Fara, 70, of Akron, Iowa passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at her home near Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday, May 28, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akron. Monsignor Richard Zenk will celebrate. Visitation will be after 4:30 pm Thursday, May 27, 2010, with the family present after 6:00 pm. There will be a Scriptural Wake Service at 7:00 pm followed by a Parish Rosary, all at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron.
