William “Bill” Faulkner, 87, of Akron, Iowa passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Akron Care Center in Akron. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Akron. Reverend Tanya Sherrill will officiate. Burial with military rites conducted by the Hoschler American Legion Post 186 of Akron will be in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, with the family present after 6:00 p.m., all at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron, Iowa.
