The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association announced its 2021 baseball all-state teams on Tuesday.
The teams were selected during a virtual selection meeting with sports writers and coaches from around the state.
A captain was selected in each class. Captains must be a senior on the first-team of the respective class. The captains were: Class 1A: Blaine Harpenau, of Remsen; Class 2A: Zach Pleggenkuhle, of Van Meter; Class 3A: Owen Puk, of Marion; and Class 4A: Brody Brecht, of Ankeny.

P: Blaine Harpenau, Sr. – Remsen St. Mary’s
Class 1A Second Team:
P: Evan Neumann, So. – Kingsley-Pierson
IF: Levi Waldschmitt, Sr. – Remsen St. Mary’s
OF: Damon Schmid, Jr. – Kingsley-Pierson
Class 1A Third Team:
IF: Jackson Howe, Jr. – Kingsley-Pierson
Class 2A Third Team:
