Hardware Hank in Le Mars Iowa is excited to announce that it will be acquired by the Kopetsky and King families which own and operate Orange City Ace Hardware and Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware of Yankton, SD.
Hardware Hank has been a long-standing service to the community of Le Mars and owners Scott and Lisa Pageler have owned and operated the business since 2010. The acquisition of Hardware Hank by Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware will provide Le Mars with a stronger, more diverse hardware store, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware is known for its commitment to the community, and they plan to continue to support local organizations and events.
“We are thrilled that Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware will be taking Le Mars downtown Hardware Hank store to the next level. Ace Hardware is a recognized leader in the industry, and we are confident that this partnership will provide our customers with even better service and a wider selection of products.”
Scott and Lisa will continue their involvement in Le Mars business and community activities. Scott will dedicate his time to providing flooring to the surrounding area. Soon the Mobile Flooring Showroom will be up and running. Instead of Hardware Hank and Flooring it will now be known as Envision Floorings. Lisa will continue 1st Choice Realty as she has for the past 34 years.

About Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware:
Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware history started in Downtown Yankton in 1975 when The Kopetsky Family purchased a “Coast to Coast” hardware store. The Yankton location has outgrown their space three different times and had an affiliation change to Ace Hardware and the development and growth of Ace Bike & Fitness. In Spring of 2016 the Kopetsky family opened a second store in Orange City, IA and later brought the Don and Miranda King family as partners in their Iowa location. The former Hardware Hank store now has the option to carry a complete lineup of industry-leading brands including, Traeger, Weber, Big Green Egg, Benjamin Moore, Scotts, Milwaukee, Craftsman, EGO and Toro. In addition, the store will have the opportunity to stock Ace-exclusive paint, including Clark+Kensington, Ace’s paint+primer in one.
“We have some very exciting things planned for this business and we would love your support as we take on this new adventure. We look forward to serving the Le Mars area for years to come.” – Ken Kopetsky.
