Mary Roder died December 19, 2024, at Happy Siesta Healthcare Center. She was 88 years old.
Mass of Christian Burial for Mary and her husband, Richard W. Roder, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen with Rev. Timothy Pick presiding and Deacon Doug Heeren assisting. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, there will be a rosary by the COF / K of C and a vigil prayer service at 5 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen. Visitation will resume Monday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA. There will be a live-stream of the vigil prayer service and funeral at www.fischfh.com.
