Caryl Joan Banks, 89, of rural Akron, IA, passed away on August 9, 2025, and Joseph Banks, 89, of rural Akron, Iowa, passed away on June 27, 2025.
Celebration of life for Caryl and Joe will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Akron. Visitation with the family present will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Please feel free to dress casually. It is what Caryl and Joe would want.
