Kemps has announced they’ve donated over 12,000 units of milk to the Le Mars Backpack Program in 2025, alongside Giving Cow donations of $5,000 and volunteer work. Mendy Lawrence, the human resources manager for Kemps, told KLEM that the company is committed to supporting the local community.
This is the fourth year in a row that Kemps has supported the program. The Backpack Program provides basic necessities, such as food or supplies, to students and families in need.
Kemps has given back to the community recently, helping to fundraise for Gehlen Catholic School’s fine arts program, providing milk for the Plymouth County Historical Museum’s Festival of Trees, and donating to the Rejoice! Community Church’s Thanksgiving dinner.
