A new apartment complex has officially opened their doors after more than two years of planning and construction. The Overlook Apartments held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce yesterday morning, although tenants began moving into the 101-unit complex earlier this month.
Josh Kruger, the president of Talon Development, explained more about what the new complex has to offer to KLEM.
Kruger says that plans for the complex started in 2023 after getting in contact with community development director Mark Gaul.
Kruger says the complex will bring options for renters and families looking specifically for apartments and townhomes.
According to Overlook’s website, rent for the apartments starts at $935 for a one-bedroom unit and $1,235 for a two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit, while the townhomes start at $1,710 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit. For more information on the complex, visit overlookapartmentsia.com.
