The Bash is today
The Bash Live at the Olson, organized by Engage Le Mars, will be taking place today, September 19th. Mitch Christoffel, President of Engage Le Mars, spoke about the event, which is now in its seventh year.
Dane Louis, Diamond Avenue, and Not Quite Brothers are set to perform starting at 4 p.m.
There will also be a variety of food options at The Bash.
Hotel/Motel Sales Tax receipts from the City of Le Mars provided $7,000 to the event.

Kristie McManamy named President and CEO of three Siouxland organizations
This week, the Boards of Directors for the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce, The Siouxland Initiative, and the Siouxland Chamber Foundation announced the hiring of Kristie McManamy as President and CEO of the organizations.
McManamy previously served as the Director of Marketing for the Siouxland Chamber and was a past Board Chair in a volunteer capacity. She succeeds Christopher McGowan, who announced earlier this year that he would be departing the organization after 23 years.
A committee made of executive board members of the Siouxland Chamber and TSI conducted an extensive nationwide search before eventually selecting McManamy. She will begin the new role on October 1st.

Kingsley man arrested for burglary and eluding
On Thursday, September 17th, a Kingsley man was arrested on active warrants out of Plymouth County. According to a press release from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office, Lance Mohr, age 42, was transported to the Plymouth County Jail and booked in on warrants for burglary and eluding. Mohr’s bond was set at no bond.
