Laurene Brown, 78, of Akron, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, Iowa.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Akron. Pastor Michael Moos will officiate. Visitation with the family present will be from noon until service time and following the service during a light reception, all at First Baptist Church in Akron.
