Ruth Hummel, 94, of Akron, Iowa, formerly of Westfield, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Akron Care Center in Akron.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Westfield Congregational Church in Westfield, Iowa. Pastor Barry Miedema will officiate. Burial will follow in the Westfield Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Rexwinkel-Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. Visitation will resume from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday at the church.
