Krista C. Phelps, 16, of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Sunday afternoon, May 23, 2010, at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, due to complications of anorexia. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kingsley. Visitation will be held at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kingsley, on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 until 8:00. A Scriptural Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at the church, one hour prior to Krista’s service on Thursday.
