Richard G. “Dick” Held, 58, of rural Hinton, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at his home near Hinton, Iowa on Monday, August 09, 2010. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Hinton United Methodist Church in Hinton, Iowa. Burial will follow at Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral.
