(LE MARS)–A retired teacher and coach is the 2011 Plymouth County Board of Supervisors chairman.
Supervisor Jim Henrich was elected to hold the chairman’s gavel for a third year in a row when the Board of Supervisors reorganized for the new year today (Monday).
The vote for Henrich was unanimous after a motion by Supervisor Don Kass was seconded by Supervisors Craig Anderson.
Kass was re-elected as vice chair of the board. This was also unanimous vote. Kass is a grain and livestock farmer from rural Remsen.
Supervisor Jack Guenthner of Le Mars received the Oath of Office from Judge Jeffrey Neary. A photo of the 2011 board of supervisors is on the county’s web site.
