John H. Bindner, 99, of Marcus, Iowa passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Heartland Care Center in Marcus. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus, Iowa. The Very Reverend Armand Bertrand will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Earnest – Johnson Funeral Home in Marcus. There will be a Rosary Service at 3:00 p.m. and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the church prior to Mass.
