Shirley Ann (Theisen) Gengler, 79, of Le Mars, died Friday, May 27, 2011 after a 5 year battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen with Rev. William McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in the St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Oyens. Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. There will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen. Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.
