Alvin Heeren, 86 of Le Mars, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Plymouth Manor Care Center. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township, rural Le Mars, Iowa. Reverend Ben Worley will officiate. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday,
July 18, 2011, with the family present after 6:00 p.m., and a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will resume 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family through Carlsen Funeral Home.
