Family Class to be Offered in Le Mars

(LE MARS) — Parenting a teenager is no easy task.  The ISU Extension Office in Plymouth

County recognizes this fact and is providing a program to aid parents and pre-teens.

Carol Schneider, of ISU Extension, tells us about the class that begins September 19th

in Le Mars.  She says the Strenghthening Families Class may be familiar to those from

Gehlen Catholic.

Schneider and Family Life Specialist Laurie Hayunges (He-youngs), from the Sioux County

Extension Office, will be putting on the class intended for parents and their 5th or 6th

graders.  Why 5th and 6th graders? Schneider says that’s when the struggle for kids may

become too much to handle at school.
