Fern E. Heck, 81, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at her home in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. Timothy Geitz will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Merrill. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
