June Heeren, 81, of rural Akron passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Union Creek Lutheran Church with Pastor Carla Nelson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitations with the family present will be after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Union Creek Lutheran Church with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service Tuesday evening at the church.
