Daniel J. Schwarz, 56 of Marcus, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus. Father Daniel C. Guenther will celebrate Mass. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18 at the Earnest-Johnson Funeral Home in Marcus. A Rosary Service will take place at 3:00 p.m., the family will be present from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Scriptural Prayer Service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
