Virtus M. Hargens, 90, of Le Mars, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the United Methodist Church of Le Mars. Reverend John Battern will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery with military honors provided by Wasmer Post #241 of the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 2-4 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 4:00 p.m. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Monday.
