Dan Blake, 87, of Akron, Iowa passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, Iowa.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron. Inurnment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Akron with military rites conducted by the Hoschler American Legion Post 186 of Akron. Visitation with the family present will be from 2:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
