Harold “Harry” Hagert, 82 years old, of Remsen, IA died peacefully after a brief illness Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Happy Siesta Health Care Center in Remsen.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen with Rev. William McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Remsen. Military Honors will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 3328 and American Legion Post 220 of Remsen. Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July15, 2014. There will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.
