Bernice M. Nafe, 92, of Pierson passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Meadow Star United Methodist Church rural Washta, Iowa. Rev. Len Garrison will officiate. Burial will follow at Grand Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Johnson – Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley. The family will be present from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
