Leonard Swanson, 96, of West Akron, South Dakota passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Prairie Estates Care Center in Elk Point, South Dakota.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Union Creek Lutheran Church, rural Akron. Reverend Carla Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015, with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron. Visitation will resume from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church.
