Donald E. Hurlbut, 77, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Unity Point/St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa. Rev. Chris Meier of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Military honors will be conducted by Wasmer Post #241 of the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
