Kenneth G. Heien, 84, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars, Iowa. Rev. Dr. Jean Ziettlow and Rev. Chris Meier will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Le Mars with military honors conducted by Wasmer Post #241of the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
