Roger E. Nelson, 82, went to his heavenly home Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Heartland Care Center in Marcus after a short illness. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church in Marcus. Rev. Kevin Roop will officiate. Burial will follow at Marcus Amherst Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Nelson’s Home in Marcus. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church on Saturday prior to the funeral service.
