Ronald ‘Ron’ Schroeder, 79, of Akron, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at his home in Akron surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron. Pastor Susan Juilfs will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Visitation with the family present will be after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Visitation will resume from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel-Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Birdie and Carol Harris School of Performing Arts and/or the City of Akron Swimming Pool Building Fund.
