Families Want To Honor Graduating Seniors On Sunday

(Le Mars) — Family members of graduating seniors from Le Mars Community have an idea as to how the town of Le Mars can honor and pay tribute to the class of 2020. This Sunday, May 17th, would have been the original date for both Gehlen Catholic and the Le Mars Community, as well as other regional schools
to hold their commencement ceremonies. However, COVID-19 has postponed those ceremonies to be held later in June. Some schools will hold a virtual graduation ceremony. Katie Majers is encouraging all area seniors to gather on the 8th Street Blvd of Le Mars on Sunday afternoon.

Majeres says the idea is to travel around town passing the schools and other highlights.
