(Le Mars) — Construction on the new Kwik Star Convenience Store is making great progress. In a matter of a few short days, the walls and roof structure have been raised giving onlookers a better idea of how the building will be situated on the former lot that housed the J and J cafe and Truck Stop. The building is slated to be finished by mid-January and opened for business by March. Kwik Star has been advertising and interviewing for potential job applicants. The new building will face south, instead of facing east and looking to the highway.
