Wayne Charles Horkey, age 68 of Alton, IA passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at Sanford USD Medical Center and Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD with his family by his side.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton, IA, with Father Daniel Greving officiating and Deacon Dan Goebel assisting. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Alton. Visitation with family present will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. with parish rosary and vigil prayer service at 5 p.m. all at the church in Alton. Visitation will resume 1 hour prior to the funeral on Thursday at the church. Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA.
