Le Mars Kiwanis Club had a great turnout and a lot of fun making popcorn balls on Wednesday evening, November 30th at the American Legion Hall. Aktion Club Members, Kiwanis Club Members and their spouses, Pride Group Employees and our Nebraska-Iowa Division 5 Lt. Governor joined in on the fun.
We made approximately 1,500 popcorn balls in approximately 2 hrs. These popcorn balls will be handed out at Pioneer Village Christmas Wonderland on Saturday & Sunday nights, December 3rd & 4th and December 10th & 11th.
A big THANK YOU to the American Legion for letting us use their hall. Also, a big THANK YOU to Fareway and Hy-Vee for letting us use their saran wrap machines.
