Pearl Ardyce (Nelson) Hillrichs, age 91, passed away as the sun set on Friday, March 17, 2023, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
A funeral service to celebrate Pearl’s long and eventful life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 22543 C16, in rural Akron. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest beside Marlin during graveside services at Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron, Iowa.
