The Iowa Senate passed legislation that strengthens Iowa’s foreign ownership of farmland law. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig says the law will be a model for other states. The bill contains elements for additional deterance, disclosure and enforcement of the law. The bill now goes to the Iowa House.
