Penny Harvey, 80, of Akron, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 13, 2024 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akron. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Akron. There will be a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron. Visitation with family present will begin at 4:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Discalced Carmelite Nun of Sioux City, Iowa.
