PARKIN THE DECEMBER HOT SHOT
Elliot Parkin, son of Josh and Dory, will be honored as a Floyd Valley Healthcare Hot Shot at the December 27th Musketeer game against the Sioux Falls Stampede.
Elliot is a fun-loving 9 year-old that attends school at Gehlen. He is a good student, loves to snuggle with mom, an avid reader with dad, but his true love is hockey! He is often called a walking encyclopedia of hockey knowledge.
Elliot, with the help of his school counselor, had the courage to talk to his parents about some frustrations including some speech issues which led to bullying. He has been working diligently with speech therapist Connie Hanson, making him more confident in saying his words properly. Connie has been patient and kind and Elliot is excited about his progress!
