Floyd Valley Healthcare to Open New Urgent Care Location
Floyd Valley Healthcare has announced their new urgent care location will be opening this Monday, June 2nd. Floyd Valley Urgent Care is located at 1080 Holton Drive. An Open House will be held tomorrow (Thursday) from 4 till 6 p.m. There will be a brief program and ribbon cutting at 5 p.m.
With the new location, new hours have also been announced. Urgent Care will be available on Monday – Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Sunday 1 – 5 p.m. While appointments can be made by calling 546-3665 to reduce wait times, walk-ins are also welcome.
Urgent care clinics are designed to treat minor injuries and illness such as respiratory illness, acute stomach issues, cuts and scrapes, urinary tract infection, sprains and strains and skin irritations. Floyd Valley Urgent care will have the ability to perform common urgent care tests on-site along with a process in place for patients to receive outpatient services at the main campus for those needing imaging for further diagnosis.
